Edith was admitted to the University of Chicago Hospital on Tuesday January, 9th of 2007. She was only going in for a quick check up. There were no clear signs of anything serious.
Today, seven days later, We are creating this web page (Blog) to help the family raise funds and blood platelets for Edith.

CORRECTION - 1/16/07 11pm - Edith was not going in for a check-up, She was about to start work when the stuff realized she was not well at all, and started to diagnose her condition.
