Having recently been diagnosed with Leukemia, Edith's Friends and Family created this page to provide important information. We are looking for people to Donate Blood Platelets and also money to help cover the medical cost.

If you want to help in a different way, you can also donate Blood Platelets or Blood for Edith. Call the Blood Bank at the Univerity of Chicago Hospital at 773-702-6247. Let them know you want to donate platelets for Edith and they'll guide you through the process. Edith's Blood type is O+. Again any help is greatly appreciated

My family and I have you in our prayers. Stay focused and positive on getting better. Hugs and kisses to little Clarissa.
It has been 32 months today since I have had cancer. Yet I can never forget the struggle to survive and the greatfulness to be alive. Thanks to my family and friends.
